Tech with any Mechanical Engineering-related specialization.Key Responsibilities:-Generate mechanical product specifications.Participate in the design, development, and implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable handling.Assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.Manufacturing Methods- DfX (Manufacturing, assembly, safety, ergonomics), Material SelectionDomain- Vacuum and gas flow systems, Physical Vapor Deposition,Prototyping- design validation through testing, understanding of reliability testing, technical documentationAssist in establishing standards across all operational processes.Participate in review engineering and help with documentation.Responsible for the design integrity of projects and productsBuild a detailed design for projects using both standard products and client-specific requirementsConduct engineering studies for customersAssist proposal team with review of customer specifications, the suggestion of existing and new technical solutionsExecute engineering projectsOccasionally take part in Factory Acceptance Tests or in the installation and commissioning of systemsThrough the service, teams provide expert support to customersSuggest or support research and development projects for automated laboratoriesWork with our partners, vendors and manufacturersSupport technical development of members within the teamConstantly increase the efficiency of the engineering team by developing design standards /guides, guide specifications, and design control proceduresTrain customers in the operation and maintenance of systemsAnalyze complex design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or proceduresBuild engineering designs and drawings including 3D and 2D modelingPerform mechanical calculations and simulationsPromote a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities
