Job Summary:
We are looking for an HR Payroll Specialist with start-up experience to manage payroll processes, ensure compliance, and support employee compensation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in payroll administration, tax deductions, and benefits processing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
- Maintain payroll records, including salary structures, bonuses, and deductions.
- Handle payroll queries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure employees receive correct compensation.
- Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to ensure proper budget allocation for salaries.
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations, labor laws, and statutory benefits.
- Manage payroll software, ensuring accurate data entry and reconciliation.
- Prepare payroll reports for management and audit purposes.
- Support employee benefits administration, including health insurance, PF, and gratuity processing.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 3+ years in payroll processing, preferably in a start-up or fast-growing environment.
- Education: Masters degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, tax deductions, and compliance.
- Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential information.
- Oversee HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record management.
- Manage HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and ensure accurate employee data entry.
- Collaborate with department heads to enhance HR workflows and operational efficiency.
