What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager professional to manage medium and large-sized programs for the
IT SCM & Operations group. The ideal candidate will take ownership of project scope and collaborate with all
internal and external stakeholders to expand SCM operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with IT, Supply Chain Operations, Real Estate and Workspace, Commercial,
and Finance teams, as well as external vendors, to plan and build SCM sites across Pan India.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years of experience with significant exposure to IT Project Management and
Infrastructure, Application, and Security projects.

IT Project Manager Roles and Responsibilities
Program Organization And Alignment:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for IT programs, ensuring alignment with organizational
- Manage medium and large-scale Supply Chain Management programs to expand Flipkart&aposs
footprint (5Mn sqft) across Pan India, in collaboration with senior management and
stakeholders.- Establish program governance and reporting mechanisms.
Program Execution:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple IT projects within the program.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate resources and manage program budgets.
Project Planning And Documentation:
- Create and maintain project plans, documentation, and change control processes in accordance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal functions such as SCM Operations, Logistics, IT, Real Estate &
- Work with external vendors to commission sites.
- Communicate program status, issues, and risks to senior management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external vendors.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with program objectives.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the program lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties and vendors.
- Ensure vendors meet their contractual obligations and deliverables.
Reporting And Performance Measurement:
- Produce accurate and timely reports on program status throughout its lifecycle.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement using appropriate tools and
techniques.
Financial Management:
- Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling
expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior PM/PC team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Ensure team members have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Possess a firm understanding of IT infrastructure, network, and data cabling, either from
first-hand experience or a history of delivering such projects.
Supply Planning Reviews:
- Conduct periodic supply planning reviews at the asset level and support various sales events.
Opportunity Identification:
- Identify opportunities for improvement in business metrics within assigned projects or business
units.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel across Pan India for the implementation of sites on need basis.
