nYou will join our Pipeline department within the Energy Transition Division
nYou will be part of a department with many interesting projects such as traditional gas infrastructure pipelines and facilities, as well as the green transition, with a growing portfolio of Hydrogen and CO2 pipelines, as well as submarine cables to offshore wind farms.We perform the design work for the pipelines and cables in the department, and cover all phases of the projects, from Feasibility to FEED to Detailed design, as well as site supervision, so you will be able to see the result of your work directly applied in construction onshore and offshore.
nJob Description
nYour key tasks and responsibilities will include:
- nPipeline engineering and project engineering management, including Client Interfaces, Third Party Comments resolution
- nExperience in Rigid and Flexible pipelines are considered
- nKnowledge of pipeline design software such us SIMLA, ANSYS, OrcaFlex
- nNatural gas, H2 and CO2 pipeline design.
- nPipeline Cost Estimating
- nPipeline FEA Analysis
- nSubsea power cable design and management
- nMechanical and Installation Analysis / Design
- nLandfall Design (for pipelines and cables)
- nProject Report writing and presentations
- nSupport on Proposals / Tendering, preparation of CTRs (budgeting and estimation)
- nM.E. / B. Tech. / M. Tech in Marine Structures / Structural Engineering / Offshore / Ocean engineering (from reputable university)
- nProfessional experience as Offshore Pipeline Engineer / Cable Specialist for a minimum of 7 years.
- nMinimum 4+ years of experiences as senior offshore pipeline engineer in making feasibility studies, concept design, FEED, and detailed design of offshore pipeline.
- nExperience with H2 and/or CO2 pipeline systems would be an advantage
- nExperience with Subsea Cable Design (Routing / Mechanical) would be considered as advantage
- nExperience in landfall design and trenchless construction techniques would be an advantage
- nMust be familiar with the relevant pipeline and cable industry codes and standards (DNV, API, ASME, NACE, CIGRE, IEC)
- nHave good client focus and project reporting skills.
- nConfidence in own ability in relevant problem solving.
- nAbility to focus on solutions and have some degree of self-motivation to reach the target, including mentoring fellow engineers within the team

- nTimely delivery of projects, with the right quality, and within budget and given schedule.
- nProactive and good at making technical coordinating within a project team
- nContribute to a continuously improve design methods and implement lessons learnt from previous projects to optimize value engineering
- nExperience in supervising junior engineers and co-ordinating with drafting team / designers
- nThe desire to learn and use Ramboll's in house software named ROSAP for structural design
- nEnsure that Ramboll's Code of Conduct, values and quality assurance system is followed all time
- nA good team member and readiness to extend support to team members whenever required
- nWillingness to go for an extra mile; flexible and positive
