EagleView, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a DATA SCIENCE QUALITY ASSESSMENT ENGINEER I in AI AND MACHINE LEARNING.
Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Data Annotators to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in the development of cutting-edge AI/ML models by meticulously labeling and annotating large datasets. Your expertise will directly impact the accuracy and effectiveness of our AI solutions.
We are a fast paced, energetic team driven by continuous process improvement. We’re looking for motivated, organized, and independent team members. This position requires good communication skills and the ability to quickly pick up new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and consistently annotate various data annotation types, such as Segmentation, Bounding Box, Polyline, and Classification, according to predefined guidelines and quality control standards.
- Ensure data quality and consistency throughout the annotation process.
- Participate in regular debriefings and meetings to discuss the edge cases and updated guidelines.
- Collaborate with audit team for corrections and improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with team supervisors, and project managers to understand project requirements and resolve any annotation challenges.
- Proactively identify and report any inconsistencies or issues with the annotation process.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of professional experience in data annotation, labeling roles.
- Familiarity with Computer Vision annotation tasks.
- Strong understanding of data annotation principles, best practices and Quality control methodologies.
- Proficiency in using annotation tools and platforms (e.g., CVAT, SageMaker GT).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with specific image annotation tasks (e.g., segmentation, classification, bounding box annotation).
- Proficiency in CVAT, SageMaker Ground Truth annotation tools.
- Experience with quality assurance and auditing of annotated data.
