DESCRIPTION

They oversee data quality, define standards, and ensure compliance.

• Ensure data entry processes meet high standards of accuracy and completeness by developing and implementing quality control measures.
• Gather and structure product details like features and specifications within the database for efficient retrieval.
• Identify and correct inaccurate or incomplete product data to maintain data integrity.
• Create and update database structures to accommodate new product information and evolving marketing needs, analyzing business processes and information requirements to provide the appropriate structure.
• Utilize data queries to generate reports, including XML for graphic design software to create marketing collateral.
• Understand marketing concepts and extract actionable insights from complex datasets to support marketing decision-making.
• Translate business requirements into data quality standards and collaborate with technical teams to ensure compliance.

• Experience and/or understanding of the life sciences tools business.
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related sciences with 9+ years experience in marketing function working with databases or Master's degree in life sciences or related sciences with 7+ years experience in marketing function working with databases.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to utilize organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to effectively negotiate and persuade others
• Ability to define problems, collect data in ambiguous environments, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Proficient with relational databases and concepts. Familiar with FileMaker or willingness to learn.
