Role And Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS) Development:
Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, IATF, VDA 6.3) and industry best practices.
Establish quality policies, procedures, and documentation to govern all aspects of quality assurance and control.
Team Leadership And Management
Lead and manage the quality assurance team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
Provide guidance and support to team members in executing quality assurance activities effectively.
Audits And Compliance
Conduct internal and external audits, inspections, and assessments to verify compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
Address audit findings, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure timely resolution of quality issues. Quality Improvement Initiatives:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product/service quality, increase efficiency, and reduce defects or non-conformities.
Utilize quality tools and methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to identify root causes, analyze data, and implement process improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, supply chain, and customer service, to address quality-related challenges, improve processes, and achieve quality
objectives.
Facilitate communication and coordination among departments to ensure alignment with quality goals and initiatives.
Quality Data Analysis And Reporting
Analyze Customer complaints, Supplier complaints, in house complaints using QC tools (preferably 8D)
Analyze quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators to monitor quality performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
Prepare and present quality reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
Certification Compliance And Standards
Stay updated on regulatory requirements, standards, and industry trends related to quality assurance and compliance.
Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, standards, and certifications applicable to the organization's products or services.
Preferred Skills- Knowledge in Product and Assembly process plastic, rubber and metal parts
- Overview of automotive parts (Sensors, Solenoids, Coils, Relays, etc.)
- Ability to understand customer requirements from customer documents, drawings, etc.
- PPAP process and documentation
- Ability to address internal and customer complaints using Q tools
- Ability to conduct supplier audits
