The Key Account Manager & Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing and nurturing key client relationships while ensuring efficient procurement of goods and services. This role requires strong negotiation skills, market analysis, and a strategic approach to both account management and purchasing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase customer retention and drive revenue growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, resolving any issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Monitor key account performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Develop and manage the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of products and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing.
- Ensure timely procurement to meet client demands and business requirements.
- Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate their performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to optimize inventory and reduce procurement costs.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and procurement processes efficiently.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, procurement best practices, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in CRM and procurement software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor&aposs/Masters degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in key account management and procurement.
- Proven track record in client relationship management and supplier negotiations.
- Familiarity with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
