The Key Account Manager & Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing and nurturing key client relationships while ensuring efficient procurement of goods and services. This role requires strong negotiation skills, market analysis, and a strategic approach to both account management and purchasing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Key Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer retention and drive revenue growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, resolving any issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
  • Monitor key account performance and provide regular reports to management.
Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Develop and manage the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of products and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing.
  • Ensure timely procurement to meet client demands and business requirements.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate their performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Work closely with finance and operations teams to optimize inventory and reduce procurement costs.
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and procurement processes efficiently.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, procurement best practices, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in CRM and procurement software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor&aposs/Masters degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in key account management and procurement.
  • Proven track record in client relationship management and supplier negotiations.
  • Familiarity with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
