Lead Business Area Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will define and implement the marketing strategy for the Motion Business area, encompassing the business area, division, and markets. You will lead, develop, and coach the Marketing team, designing and managing the marketing action plan to achieve key qualitative and quantitative targets.

Your efforts will focus on driving profitability and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

The work model for the role is: #Li - Onsite

This role is contributing to the Motion Business in Bangalore.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Responsible for creating, planning, and implementing the marketing (and communications) strategies for the assigned area in accordance with the business area/division marketing and sales strategy and budget.
  • Develops action plans to deliver the agreed marketing (and communications) strategy within the budget.
  • Defines the marketing targets for the assigned area and ensures their achievement.
  • Anticipates changes in the market direction proactively and facilitates timely and appropriate remedial action.
  • Identifies existing and new strategic segments and business opportunities through market analysis, defines strategy/business plans for each opportunity, and coordinates with the relevant teams for the assigned area.
  • Responsible for, industry segment marketing, and the development of strategic and tactical marketing plans to support the organization within the assigned area.
  • Develops and maintains efficient marketing tools and implements coordinated marketing analyses and activities to ensure the global markets are well-monitored.
Qualifications for the role
  • MBA Sales & Marketing with BE ( Electrical / Electronics).
  • 15+ years of experience with Exposure in Electrical engineering organization. Exposure of Motors and Drives will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in Portfolio Management & making Business Strategies.
  • Hands on experience in go-to-market strategy and market intelligence.
  • Experience in Marketing campaign and Channel Support.
  • Experience in regulation & legal compliance.
