We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Delivery Head
In this role, you will:
Portfolio Financial Management- Analyse financial information and produce monthly financial reporting relating to the performance of the portfolio as well as contribute to ad hoc reporting requirements as required.
- Develop relevant financial metrics and KPIs to help the business to effectively and accurately track and measure results.
- Maintain data quality in relevant financial systems ensuring that all are aligned to reflect the latest position.
- Design, develop, publish and maintain comprehensive Power BI dashboards to visualize key financial metrics that supports Cybersecurity in its strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Engage with Cybersecurity stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, key financial metrics and value drivers.
- Present information and business requirements using data visualisation that helps stakeholders understand insights.
- Create DAX calculations and measures to support required data analysis.
- Ensure data security and compliance with best practices.
- Build and automate data models for financial data flows, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and implement straight-through processing models to automate report refreshes and data updates.
- Consult and provide insights on best practice for finance data modelling.
- Gather, manage, and transform raw data from various Global Businesses and Global Functions into usable formats, maintaining up-to-date reference data.
- Collaborate with various Global Businesses, Global Functions and data providers to acquire, clean, and prepare data for reporting purposes.
- Design and develop automation tools for business use, identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency and streamlining processes.
- Implement processes to gather, transform, clean, manage and report data.
- Serve as an expert on bespoke HSBC systems, providing insights and solutions for complex data challenges.
- Manage team to develop, automate and maintain data models, reports, processes, and financial systems.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a professional qualification in Finance MBA or post graduate preferred
- 15+ years experience working in Financial Management, Business Management or FP&A roles within a large global organization
- Financial and accounting acumen, with ability to budget, track and control expenditure
- Proven ability to distil complex and varied data into information that can be utilised to manage and measure performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and transform data from multiple sources.
- Proven experience in designing and developing Power BI dashboards, with a strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts.
- Delivery-focused with ability to pay attention to detail and ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required levels of quality
- Ability to understand and contribute to financial processes and provide solutions through a large, complex organisation
- Working knowledge of the financial services or banking industry and management of project financial processes
- Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment managing multiple priorities
- Proactive, self-motivated, and demonstrated ability to work on own projects and deliverables
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable leading discussions
- Developed leadership and management skills, with experience in team building and managing a wide range of complex strategic and transformation projects.
- Ability to lead and motivate stakeholders and team members, employing appropriate management styles.
- Experience of managing resources to achieve objectives using appropriate communication delegation and planning skills.
- Ability to use strong judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining budgets, time scales and quality of output
- Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel (advance) and Power BI (incl. development) including HSBC's GPDM system
- Strong knowledge of VBA, Power Query, SQL, Python and DAX, with experience in creating complex calculations and measures.
