What would you do? The Vendor Master Associate is responsible for overseeing vendor data management processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and providing strategic insights to optimize vendor relationships and operational efficiency.This role involves managing complex vendor master data, conducting in-depth analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, compliance, and alignment with business objectives. The Vendor Master Associate plays a key role in implementing best practices, and contributing to the strategic direction of vendor management initiatives.
Vendor Master Data Management: Management of vendor master data, including vendor setup, maintenance, and governance processes.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of vendor information across systems and databases.Develop and implement data quality standards, controls, and validation rules to maintain data integrity and compliance.
Data Analysis and Insights: Conduct advanced data analysis and modeling to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to track vendor performance, spending patterns, and compliance metrics.Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to management based on data analysis and industry benchmarks.
