Job Description

We are seeking candidates for Telamon HR Solutions.

The ideal applicant should possess a background in IT project management, specifically with a software product company in the insurance or banking sector.

• Oversee internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project execution
• Guarantee timely, budget-friendly project delivery while adhering to scope requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, assuring technical feasibility
• Confirm resource availability and manage allocations accordingly
• Construct precise project plans to monitor and track progress
• Handle modifications related to project scope, schedule, and expenses utilizing suitable verification methods
• Evaluate project performance through appropriate tools and techniques
• Communicate project status to management and escalate concerns when necessary
• Foster relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Implement risk management strategies to reduce project risks
• Build and maintain rapport with external vendors
• Develop and preserve thorough project documentation
• Engage with clients to gather detailed briefs and clarify project specifics
• Assign project tasks based on the unique strengths, skills, and expertise of junior staff members
• Monitor project progress to ensure both short and long-term goals are met
• Meet financial targets and modify project parameters based on financial evaluations
• Create and share comprehensive project plans with clients and team members
• Enhance and nurture your leadership abilities
• Participate in seminars and training to maintain and grow your proficiency
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
• Design and maintain spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document requirements

• Demonstrated experience in project management
• Exceptional client-facing communication and internal collaboration skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
• Robust organizational capabilities, including attention to detail and multitasking proficiency
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor&aposs or Master&aposs degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE II certification is a beneficial asset

The selected candidates can be based in Johannesburg with a commitment to work from Bangalore for 4 to 6 months, or alternatively, those situated in Bangalore may work out of Johannesburg for 7 to 8 months of the year.
