Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our team in Chennai. This is a full-time, mid-level position for candidates with a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing APIs and working with Java Spring boot and MYSQL SQL DB, ensuring efficient and secure web server operations.

• Proficiency in API Development (Mandatory skill) is essential for building robust and scalable backend services.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Java Spring boot (Mandatory skill) to design and develop web applications.
• Experience with MYSQL SQL DB (Mandatory skill) to efficiently manage and query relational databases.
• Familiarity with Web Servers such as Apache or Nginx to configure and maintain backend server environments.
• Knowledge of Security Best Practices to protect applications from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Experience in Unit Testing to ensure code quality and reliability before deployment.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an agile team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize backend processes and applications.

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs to support business requirements and integrations.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure high-performance and responsiveness of applications through effective code optimization.
• Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard organizational assets.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to maintain code integrity and functionally.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
• Document development processes, architectures, and technical specifications for future reference.
