ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
As a Senior Test Analyst, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products and responsibilities encompass a range of activities focused on planning, executing, and managing testing processes. You will be part of the technical design, development and maintenance of applications and systems using existing and emerging technology platforms.Reporting to the Software Development Manager, you will be a part of the Product Technology and Engineering team.
You will be contributing to SITA’s success by ensuring the software is verified and validated against the criteria set out in the functional and non- functional specifications by defining test cases and ensuring their execution.

WHAT YOU’LL DO- Analyze the new feature request together with scrum team and product owner and provide early suggestions to be considered for feature development.
- Work with Scrum team on day to day basis as a quality checkpoint for all development work.
- Design simplified but effective test cases and keeping regression test packs up to date with new and amended software or services.
- Maintain and run automation test scripts
- Create and capture all test documentations
- Defect management
- Performance testing
- Suggest best practices to improve the quality of the software.
- Help developers with automation test scripts.
- Highlight issues and risks at early stages to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS- Good experience in agile testing environment and knowledge of all software testing methodologies e.g. functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing etc.
- University degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or similar.
- ISTQB Foundation qualification or recognized country-specific qualification desirable.
- Automation with knowledge of writing Gherkin scripts and some manual testing skills essential
- Tools in use include Selenium, Azure DevOps, Webdriver/TestNG/Cucumber, Java, RESTAssured, Jenkins, Postman, UFT and ALM Octane
- The person should have a knowledge of min. 1 programming language.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Principles of Agile.
- Risk Based & Model based testing knowledge
- Requirements Traceability Matrix skills
- DevOps/Continuous Integration knowledge
