Research Assistant - Coating
Summary:
Responsible for development of silicone hardcoat products, formulations as part of NPI development to enhance functional coating performance
Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for development of silicone hard coat products, formulations.
- Develop technical solutions with novel silicone/resin formulations, evaluate properties under the guidance
- Strong execution skills, work on multiple projects and stakeholders in alignment with project timelines to provide technical solutions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders both verbally and written
- Summarize experimental results and document data as ELN/technical reports
- Maintain and calibration of instruments working with OEMs
- Adhere to lab safety practice
Qualifications:
The following are for the role- BE / BTech in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- 1 - 2 years of experience in in relevant industry
- Good knowledge in solgel chemistry, formulations and coating testing
- Self-motivated, take initiatives, able to work independently and in team
- Use of basic statistical tools for representing experimental data
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
