Team Leader - Academic Counselor/Sr. Academic Counselor (Team Size: 10)

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Team Leader to lead a team of 10 Academic Counselors and Sr. Academic Counselors. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping students achieve their educational and career goals by guiding them to make informed decisions.The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, empathetic advisor, capable of leading and inspiring a team to excel in a target-driven environment

What Your Onboarding Journey Will Look Like:
- Training: You will participate in an intensive training program to gain essential skills in counseling, product knowledge, communication, and technical systems. The training will consist of New Hire Classroom Training and Nest On-the-Job Training (OJT)
- Team Assignment: After training, you'll join your shopfloor team, with a dedicated buddy for support in day-to-day queries
- Ongoing Responsibilities: Once acclimated, you will lead and support your team as they counsel students, ensuring they meet sales targets while providing high-quality guidance.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of 10 Academic Counselors, helping them achieve their sales targets and enhance their counseling skills
- Oversee core sales calls (both outbound and inbound) and work on cold and warm leads, guiding the team in pitching and selling educational programs effectively
- .Collaborate with counselors to develop a results-driven approach while fostering a supportive and engaging team environment
- Ensure the team adheres to best practices in student counseling and maintains a high communication standard with students and parents.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent listening and communication skills - English & Hindi are essential.
- Sales Background: Minimum 2 years of experience in EdTech sales or BPO/contact center sales
- Drive for Targets: Comfortable working with daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment
- Leadership Abilities: Strong ability to guide, motivate, and develop a team to meet high-performance standards
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with a knack for executing high-velocity closures
- Adaptability: Open to a rotational weekly-off schedule, working 6 days a week, including Sundays.
- Technical: Should have a personal laptop
- Experience: 1 to 5 years in telesales or academic counseling, with demonstrated success in achieving targets
- Education: Graduate in any field
