Sr. Executive/ Executive - Merchandising @ Bangalore

Our client caters to Fashion Industry with their Supply Chain and Merchandising Services. They would like to fill-up the following position asap.

Compensation : Commensurate with education and experience

Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :

• Develop and implement effective merchandise strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, source, produce, and deliver high-quality apparel products that meet market trends and consumer preferences.
• Conduct regular trend analysis and forecasting to inform purchasing decisions and optimize inventory management.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to negotiate prices, terms, and quality standards.
• Analyze sales data and market research to identify opportunities for range development and cost reduction.
• Strong understanding of fabric sourcing, sampling process, costing techniques for garments & accessories.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively across multiple departments (buying/product development/marketing).
• Proficiency in using software tools such as Excel/PowerPoint/Word; knowledge of ERP systems an asset.
• NIFT, Fashion School, Merchandising background. Preferably Men's/Women's wear background. Sourcing/factory experience.
• Prefer from D2C businesses like Myntra, Amazon or online brands in sourcing. 4-6 years of merchandising and product development experience with a Buying House.
