QA Automation Test Engineer - BFSI

Job Description

Skills: Selenium, Appium, Postman.

Automation Testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test strategies, plans, and schedules for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, system integration, and exploratory testing for both web and mobile platforms.
• Conduct end-to-end testing for workflows such as Mutual Fund transactions, NAV calculations, portfolio management, and other critical processes.
• Design and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment cycles.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to clarify requirements and ensure quality assurance standards.
• Mentor and guide junior testers to enhance overall team productivity.
• Conduct mobile application testing across platforms (iOS, Android) to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing for web applications to ensure consistent functionality.
• Validate API integrations and test data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
• Leverage BFSI domain knowledge, particularly in the Mutual Fund space, to test critical business scenarios.
• Prepare detailed test execution reports and share insights to improve testing processes.
• Conduct database testing by writing SQL queries to validate data integrity.
• Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter and analyze system bottlenecks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on the BFSI domain (Mutual Fund experience preferred).
• Hands-on experience in web and mobile application testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
