Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales and Customer Service Customer Engagement: Provide personalized customer service by understanding customer needs, making product recommendations, and guiding them through the purchasing process. Achieve Sales Targets: Work towards meeting or exceeding sales goals, driving revenue, and increasing store profitability.
Upsell and Cross-Sell: Utilize product knowledge to upsell or cross-sell products to customers, enhancing their shopping experience while increasing sales. Customer Satisfaction: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
2. Team Leadership & Staff Management Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, ensuring they deliver high levels of service and meet individual and team targets. Training & Development: Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to existing staff, ensuring they have the product knowledge and skills necessary to succeed.
Scheduling: Create employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage, taking into account peak sales periods, and ensuring the store operates efficiently. Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance through regular feedback and coaching.
Address any performance issues or discrepancies in a timely manner. 3. Store Operations Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, order new products, and ensure the store’s inventory is well-managed. Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
Merchandising: Ensure that the store’s layout and product displays are visually appealing, in line with company standards, and optimized for sales. Store Presentation: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store, ensuring that it is welcoming and visually appealing to customers at all times.
Compliance: Ensure the store complies with company policies, health and safety regulations, and other legal requirements. 4. Marketing & Promotions Promotional Activities: Assist with the implementation of in-store promotions and events, such as seasonal sales, product launches, or discounts, to drive traffic and sales.
Customer Engagement: Build customer loyalty by actively engaging with clients, understanding their preferences, and encouraging repeat business. 5. Reporting and Administrative Duties Sales Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to track performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to upper management.
