Job Summary:
- Ventra is seeking a dedicated and analytical Assistant Manager, Compensation to play a key role in supporting the company’s global compensation initiatives. This position will be responsible for assisting with the design, implementation, and analysis of compensation programs across our US, Philippines, and India markets. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in compensation analysis and a passion for developing equitable and competitive pay structures in a global environment.
Essential Functions and Tasks:
- Collaborate with the Associate Director, Compensation to support the annual merit review cycle, including data preparation, consolidation, and analysis for multiple geographies.
- Manage the accurate and timely consolidation of compensation data from multiple sources and ensure its alignment with organizational policies.
- Conduct market benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness and compliance with local regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to support decision-making, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Partner with HR business partners and regional leaders to address compensation-related queries and provide guidance on pay strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all compensation-related statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Assist in reviewing and updating job evaluations, salary structures, and pay ranges as needed.
- Participate in the development and execution of global compensation philosophy and strategy initiatives.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR role, preferably in a global organization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
- Experience with compensation management tools or HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural, global environment.
- Knowledge of labor laws and compensation regulations in India, with exposure to US and Philippines markets preferred.
