Job Overview
Thomas Global Logistics Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our dynamic logistics team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of logistics specialists to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of our logistics services.This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in the logistics or from BPO industry. The job is based in New Delhi, Delhi, India and is a full-time employment opportunity.
Qualifications And Skills- Bachelor's degree.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in a team leadership role
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using logistics software and tools
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of local and international transportation modes and regulations
- Plan and coordinate the scheduling of shipments and transportation activities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to optimize logistics operations
- Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Generate reports and analyze data to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
