Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Daily Support Activities:

• Be the first line of Cloud Support, analyze and resolve Azure Cloud support tickets in queue, address various requests and issues reported by Development, DataOps, QA, and business teams.
• Perform routine maintenance and operational tasks to ensure smooth system functionality.
• Contribute to vulnerabilities and Azure policies remediation activities.

1. Monitoring:

• Administer and enhance DataDog monitoring to ensure systems health and performance.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact end-users.
• Monitor cloud costs to optimize resource utilization.

1. Alerting and Escalation:

• Implement, administer, and utilize OpsGenie or similar alerting and escalation platform, continuously improve and integrate with Jira and Datadog.
• Manage alerting and escalation processes using OpsGenie.
• Ensure timely and effective communication and response to incidents.
• Organize and conduct outage bridge calls

1. Troubleshooting:

• Troubleshoot a wide range of Azure infrastructure components, including VMs, AKS, DataFactory, databases, storage accounts, networking, identity management, etc.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for Kubernetes environments, with a strong focus on managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.

1. Miscellaneous:

• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate effectively across teams to resolve DevOps support issues.
• Lead the development and execution of Disaster Recovery procedures.

Requirements:

• Experience:
• 3 year recent hands-on experience in a nid or senior Production Support role in Azure Cloud and Kubernetes environment. Daily hands-on activities related to remediating problems and providing support.
• Expert level experience implementing alerting/escalation tools OpsGenie (or similar, PagerDuty, etc.) and integrating with JIRA and Datadog or similar monitoring platform.
• In-depth experience with logging and monitoring tools Datadog or similar platform

Technical Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting skills across various Azure infrastructure services.
• Familiarity with databases, storage accounts, networking, and identity management in Azure.
• Expert with alerting and incident management tools like OpsGenie, PagerDuty, etc.
• First-hand working knowledge of monitoring tools such as Datadog, and SolarWinds DPM or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management and troubleshooting.
• Windows and Linux administration
• Scripting experience preferred one of the following: Python, Bash, PowerShell, AZ CLI
• Soft Skills:
• Outgoing, driven, with natural leadership abilities
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Azure and Kubernetes.
• Experience in a healthcare software environment.

Work Schedule:

• This position requires work during India first shift IST hours
