Line Leader (Production Machine Shop) - Bangalore

Job Description

This role involves leading a production line, managing operators and machines, ensuring quality outputs, tracking new product development (NPD), and maintaining AS9100D and EHS documentation. Candidates with expertise in CNC machining, GD&T, process flow, SAP/ERP systems, and troubleshooting are preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the production line, ensuring clear communication and required outputs.
• Achieve production targets as per SCC, DCC, weekly, and hourly plans.
• Manage shifts, operators, and machine maintenance for smooth operations.
• Oversee CNC machining processes including Turning, Turnmill, Milling, e-Grinding, and WDM machines.
• Track New Product Development (NPD) and ongoing production activities.
• Ensure quality outputs and maintain related documentation.
• Identify and resolve production issues and troubleshooting machine-related problems.
• Monitor cutting tool life, collect data, and optimize tool usage.
• Handle PO closing, excess material accountability, and rejection analysis.
• Maintain and document compliance with AS9100D, EHS 14001 & 45001 standards.
• Train and mentor new joiners and trainees in machine shop operations.
• Implement and promote 5S, Kaizen, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices for continuous improvement.
