ITSM Integrations Architect
Role Introduction:
As the ITSM Integrations Architect with a Master Data Management (MDM) focus, you will be pivotal in designing and implementing integration solutions that connect IT Service Management (ITSM) systems with MDM platforms and other enterprise applications.You’ll be responsible for creating a cohesive architecture that supports data integrity, streamlines workflows, and enables better decision-making across the organization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that integration solutions align with both business and technical requirements, helping to drive operational efficiencies and data quality improvements.
What You Will Do:
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement ITSM and MDM Integrations
- Architect and implement integration solutions between ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management) and MDM systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into scalable, secure integration solutions.
- Define integration blueprints, data mappings, and workflows, aligning solutions with IT governance and security standards.
- Develop and Lead MDM Strategy for ITSM Data
- Lead the design and implementation of MDM solutions that unify, govern, and manage master data across ITSM and other enterprise systems.
- Establish data quality standards, governance processes, and data maintenance protocols to ensure consistent and accurate data across systems.
- Implement and document MDM policies to enable effective cross-functional data sharing and reporting.
- Enhance Process Automation and Workflow Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to automate processes within ITSM and MDM platforms, leveraging APIs, custom scripts, and workflow automation tools.
- Develop solutions that reduce manual processes, improve response times, and enhance the overall user experience within IT and support teams.
- Regularly assess system and workflow performance, adjusting configurations and integrations to improve efficiency.
- Ensure Data Security and Compliance
- Develop solutions that meet data security, privacy, and compliance requirements, including continuous monitoring and reporting for security-related activities.
- Partner with IT security, data governance, and compliance teams to ensure that all integrations comply with internal and regulatory standards.
- Establish automated tools and protocols to monitor data integrity, set alerts, and track compliance metrics.
- Provide Technical Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for ITSM and MDM integration projects, guiding cross-functional teams in aligning project objectives and integration goals.
- Lead technical workshops, planning sessions, and knowledge-sharing meetings to ensure stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Collaborate with external vendors, IT architects, and data engineers to troubleshoot issues and enhance the effectiveness of integrations.
What You Will Have:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Overall industry experience of 9 -12 years with minimum of 5 years’ experience in ITSM and MDM solutions, with a focus on integration architecture.
- Proficiency in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management), MDM platforms, and integration technologies such as APIs and ETL tools.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance as it relates to ITSM and MDM integration.
- Proven experience in process automation, data management, and workflow optimization.
