What You'll Do:
As our Global People Operations Manager, you will oversee a team of 4 People Operations Specialists based in India. You will ensure the efficient delivery of HR services, execution of audits, compliance with regional employment laws, and alignment with global HR policies.
You will work with cross functional partners to find opportunities to improve and streamline processes and then implement those improvements among our global People Operations team.
As a hybrid role, this position requires two days per week in the office, with the flexibility to work from home three days per week. You will report to the Senior Manager of People Operations
What Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Manage the daily operations of the People Operations team in India, overseeing service delivery, case management, and transaction accuracy.
- You will provide guidance to individual contributors across all levels to build a high-performing team culture
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager in the U.S. to align team objectives with global People operations strategy.
- Ensure that all employee inquiries, escalations, and People & Culture transactions are handled using Workday and ServiceNow, meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and maintaining compliance.
- Oversee complex or sensitive People & Culture cases that require escalation, ensuring resolution.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and improve the employee experience within the India region.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies, addressing any gaps or risks in partnership with legal and compliance teams.
- Represent the People Operations team during cross-functional meetings
- Assist in the execution of global People & Culture projects, ensuring successful implementation within the India team.
- Look for opportunities to automate processes utilizing Workday, write the requirements and test scripts, oversee testing and the successful implementation of the process change.
What You'll Need to be Successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in HR operations or shared services, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws, employment practices, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and case management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
