Position Profile
Weaver is looking for talented Tax professionals at the Senior Associate level to join our growing firm! The ideal candidate will be a CPA or CPA candidate with 4+ years of public accounting experience in individual taxation.
The Candidate should be a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. This position can be based in Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi, or Coimbatore as part of Weaver and Tidwell India, L.L.P.
To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of public accounting experience
- Exposure to CCH Axcess, Prosystem Fx Engagement,Autoflow, Gofile room
- Experience in Preparing individual and Trust returns
- Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
- Independent training and self-development, including researching and self-involving based on available resources
- Fluent writing and verbal skills in English, including grammatical accuracy
- Willing to work in office with team members and supervisors
- Problem solving skills and able to work independently successfully
- Able to work flexible hours when key client or team meetings are needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Master's degree in Accounting, or related field is preferred
- CPA, CPA candidate, EA or EA candidate Knowledge/experience in US Individual, Trust and Family Limited Partnership tax returns
- Knowledge/experience of Energy industry
- Willing to learn and work on other industry and Forms based on the team requirement
