Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on design specifications and client requirements.
• Optimize and maintain existing WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
• Implement advanced JavaScript features, including front-end frameworks like React or Svelte, to create interactive and dynamic web experiences.
• Advance knowledge in backend technology such as NodeJs, Prisma, GraphQL, SQL databases and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to ensure project requirements are met and delivered on time.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and continuously working to improve code quality.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and growth within the team.
• Create/customize WP REST API and headless CMS implementations
• Create industry standard code documentation while developing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS or LESS) and build tools (e.g., Webpack or Gulp).
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques and web accessibility standards.
