Email Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Principal Responsibilities (but not limiting up to)
Campaign Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement email marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
Create and manage email campaigns, including content development, design, and
deployment using email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions.
Content Creation and Optimization:
Write compelling and effective email copy that adheres to brand voice and drives desired
actions (e.g., conversions, clicks, engagement).
Design and optimize email templates, ensuring responsiveness and usability across devices.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
Monitor email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions,etc.) and optimize campaigns based on insights.
Conduct A/B testing on email campaigns to improve KPIs and overall effectiveness.
Automation and Workflow Management:
Implement email automation workflows to nurture leads through the buyer's journey.
Maintain and improve email lists, ensuring compliance with email regulations (e.g., GDPR,CAN-SPAM).
Collaboration and Reporting:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., content marketing, design) to align email
campaigns with broader marketing initiatives.
Prepare regular reports on email campaign performance and provide actionable insights to
stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Email Marketing Specialist or similar role, preferably in a B2B or
B2C environment.
Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) and marketing
automation tools.
Strong understanding of email marketing metrics and best practices.
Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns accordingly.
Experience with HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.
