Profile- Design Engineer

Experience: 5 years.
Salary: upto 10 LPA

Location: Delhi

A design engineer for a worm helical gear gearbox might have the following responsibilities:

Conceptual design: Create a conceptual design for the gear box based on standards like AGMA and DIN

Manufacturing drawings: Design and create detailed manufacturing drawings for gears, pinions, and shafts.

Design engineers in general may also:

Identify complex design problems

Analyze root causes of failures

Anticipate production issues

Develop innovative design solutions

Evaluate options

Conduct tests

Implement solutions to meet targets for timing, product cost, and reliability

Some skills that are useful for a mechanical design engineer include:

CAD proficiency, Must have Exp in helical gearboxes

Engineering knowledge

Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Problem-solving

Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes

Project management

Communication skills
