Job Description
Position- Corporate Legal Specialist
Experience- 5-9 Years
Location- Faridabad
Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
To study and process case papers in respect of legal disputes or cases as may be
entrusted.
To keep updated on the new case laws on the subjects handled, apply it to the
cases and share it with other Executives in the department.
To prepare case files / documents / briefs for Solicitors / Advocates and Counsels
on various matters.
To coordinate and follow up with Advocates for preparation of legal documents and
to ensure correctness of the facts included.
To coordinate with various departments and divisions in getting information, details
and documents as may be required to attend to a particular matter
To attend the various court proceedings and to attend to such incidental matters
related to the court.
To attend to Government Officials or Quasi-judicial Authorities whenever necessary.
To keep a track record of the legal cases and the status of such cases from time to
time.
To ensure foolproof commercial contractual documentations.
To be proactive in sensing the legal issues that may affect the Company and taking
remedial legal and other measures.
To generally assist the HOD in attaining the key objectives of the Legal Department
which include elimination of frivolous litigations, reduction of pendency of cases,identification of competent set of lawyers and reviewing their performance, and
ensuring reasonable budgetary control on legal expenses.
To keep other executives in the department updated on the progress of the matters
and to consider any suggestions from them.
To carry out routine functions independently and keep the HOD informed.
On important matters & matters of policy, take HODs advice & concurrence.
Area of Operation : All or any of the following as entrusted by the HOD:-- Civil Matters
- Property, Tax & Land Revenue matters
- Intellectual Property matters
- Criminal matters
- Recovery matters
- Arbitration matters
- Commercial contracts vetting and drafting.
Internal Co-ordination:
Coordination with various departments and their functional heads
Coordinate with various Corporate Departments
