We are looking for a Delivery Manager for Solution Delivery Unit (SDU) Operations / Manufacturing.
SDU Operations / Manufacturing team is an organization within Solution Delivery of Digital Solutions and IT (DSIT). This team is responsible for the solution maintenance, support and one-time IT deliveries of unique and common solutions that are used by UD Trucks Operation factories manufacturing at Ageo, Bangkok, and Pretoria.
In this role, you will be responsible for Manufacturing solutions while securing understanding of mutual relation between solutions, and connection with cross-domain upstream and downstream solutions.
This job location is in India-Bengaluru to support UD Trucks Operations.
What You Will Do
This job is to- Manage and maintain the Application landscape to support Manufacturing operations in Bangkok, Ageo & Pretoria plants.
- Responsible for the defined deliveries according to agreed estimations on cost, time and quality.
- Secure work prioritization and distribution within the team and coordinate teams activities
- Achieve Delivery Quality KPIs and SLAs target
- Oversee activities of delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed
- Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements
- Manage team members to track, follow-up and report on SLAs/KPIs for both One-time and run-time
- Manage team members to plan, schedule and coordinate go-live for both one time and runtime with 3rd party
- Initiate, support, drive and implement continuous improvement activities.
- Evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs and manage competence development for the team.
- Make critical business decisions to meet customer expectations
- Develop strategic proposals and recommendation
- Handle third-party agreements and licenses
- Vendor negotiation and business acumen
- Finance budgeting, control and cost optimization
- Application life cycle management and rationalization
- Competence development and team building
Mandatory to have:
- Minimum 15+ years of working experience in IT and business consulting
- Minimum 5+ years of team management experience
- Understand culture difference and diversity
- Good team player, teamwork
- Experience from the Manufacturing functional domain
- Experience working in an IT delivery organization (project, runtime) including budgeting process
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Proficiency in both English (business level) and Japanese (optional)
- Ability to drive for results and ensure accountability of tasks
- Flexible and willing to walk extra mile
- Willing to travel to other UD locations for business for Short term assignments
