Sap Fico Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for an experiencedSAP FICO Senior Consultantwith5 to 15 years of experiencein implementing and supportingSAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise inSAP S/4HANA Finance, General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and Financial Reporting.

This role requiresstrong business acumen, stakeholder management, and hands-on configuration skillsto support finance transformation projects and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadend-to-end SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, and support projectsfor global clients.
• Configure and enhanceSAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Taxation, Bank Accounting) and CO (Cost Center, Internal Orders, Profit Center, Product Costing, COPA).
• Work onSAP S/4HANA Finance migration and conversion projects, ensuring a smooth transition from SAP ECC.
• Providefunctional expertise on financial closing processes, tax reporting, and IFRS/local GAAP compliance.
• Develop and executefunctional test plans, UAT scripts, and cutover activities.

• Work closely withfinance teams, business analysts, and IT teamsto understand financial processes and deliver optimized solutions.
• Design and implementSAP FICO customizationsfor financial reporting, integration with third-party systems, and process automation.
• Collaborate withSAP ABAP developersto defineRICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows).
• Provide insights onSAP Central Finance, Treasury, and Group Reportingsolutions.

• Ensure seamlessintegration of SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP, HCM, and SuccessFactors modules.
• Work onSAP FIORI apps, BTP extensions, and financial analytics dashboards.
• Definedata migration and reconciliation strategiesusingSAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, or ETL tools.

• Act as atrusted advisorto finance stakeholders, CFOs, and senior business leaders.
• Conductworkshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and user training.
• LeadFICO teamsin global project delivery, guiding junior consultants and offshore teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 to 15 years of experience in SAP FICO modulewith at least3 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
• Expertise inGL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and COPA.
• Experience inTaxation (GST, VAT, Withholding Tax), Bank Accounting, and Treasury Management.
• Hands-on experience withSAP S/4HANA Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Financial Closing Cockpit, and Group Reporting.
• Knowledge ofSAP Fiori Apps, BTP, and integration with SAP BPC, SuccessFactors, or third-party systems.

• Strongproblem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability tolead finance transformation initiativesand drive business impact.

• SAP FICO or SAP S/4HANA Finance Certificationis a plus.
• Experience withSAP Central Finance, Treasury, or Group Reporting.
