Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs

and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities

This role is contributing to the Motion business for System Drives division in Nelamangala -Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:
  1. Volume and profit :Support on time for Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
  2. Customer relations: Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/sys- tems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  3. Sales plans :Drives Sales target with front end sales on weekly basis. Ensures SFDC Data quality.
  4. Sales : Creates added value for the customer RFQ and ensures the successful product positioning, value proposition, ROI calculations, closing contracts and proposals using effective sales techniques. Communicates details in accordance with ABB offering and strat- egy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
  5. Marketing :Ensures efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers. Educate FES team with necessary inputs for engaging customer with right techno commercial Solution.
Qualifications for the role
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in LV Drives applications, Drive Cabinets, Large rating drive package solutions, MV Drives, DC Drives, High Power Drive Modules, etc.
  • Strong technical knowledge of various industry verticals, application knowledge, drive technology, and domain knowledge.
  • Willingness to support and travel to various customer place across India on need basis.
