Sales Support Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and mar-ket) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

This role contributes to process automation in the process industries in the India region.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications.
- Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
- Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.
- You enjoy working with technical sales and bids & proposals for controls and automation in the process industries market.
- You have 8-12 years of experience in technical sales, estimation, offering, and customer interface.
- You possess enhanced knowledge of estimation, positioning, and selling instrumentation and au-tomation systems.
- You are passionate about communication, conflict resolution, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- You hold a degree in engineering, with a focus on electronics, instrumentation, or electrical engi-neering.
- You are comfortable communicating in English, both in writing and verbally.
