What would you do? • Lead a team to the highest standards of performance through hiring, goal setting, coaching, performance reviews and positive role-modeling- Analyze, identify, and recommend process improvement and system modifications to standardize, increase productivity and efficiency.
- Engage stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved processes and savings.
- Demonstrate CORE values to foster relationships within the team as well as all business partners
- Ensure all tasks within the functional area are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations accurately show the inventory position of the company, and follow up accordingly bringing solutions to any process or control related issues.
- Ensure all inventory results are booked into the financial statements on a timely basis with all necessary investigations performed.
- Engage with business partners to develop recommendation/ processes to reduce shrink
- Ensure that all department objectives and initiatives are completed
You will develop category management strategy by driving down the total cost of targets goods/services with solution that meet business needs through proactive development and execution of the appropriate strategies. This further optimizes the business outcomes of sourcing, procurement enablement and transaction processing through category specific contract management, supplier relationship management, and procurement performance management.

- A university degree in accounting; a professional accounting designation preferred
- Proven leadership experience, with approachable & collaborative demeanor
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and Access databases, working with large volumes of data
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems would be considered an asset
- Proven record of leading process improvement initiatives
- Strong project management skills an asset
- Strong organization and time management skills required as well as the ability to prioritize and multitask daily activities in a demanding environment
- French would be considered an asset
- Familiarity with VBA and SQL would be considered an asset
- May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures
- The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals
- Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor
- May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture
- Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments
- Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside
- Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
