About Your Team

Corporate Enablers Technology encompasses four distinct portfolios: Corporate Finance Office (CFO), Corporate People Office (CPO), General Counsel (GC), and Corporate Property Services (CPS). We provide the underlying technology for managing for example Fidelity's core finance, HR, procurement, legal, risk and compliance, statutory reporting, real estate management, global security and business continuity processes.

About Your Role

The Service Now Technical specialist will initially focus on implementing the Service Now Integrated Risk Management (IRM) module to time, quality and budget, whilst also being responsible for developing improvements on the FIL Service Now Platform.
The developer will be involved across the SDLC including defining requirements, design, development, unit and functional testing and releasing solutions into production. Requirements will be defined with alignment to FILs strategy for technology, and you will be involved in contributing to both strategic initiatives and incremental improvements.

The role will act as a Trusted Advisor for technical aspects of Service Now to the Service Now product owners and customers, initially aligned to the IRM module. The role will also support mentoring and training the development and admin teams on Service Now concepts and capabilities.

About You
  • Experience implementing Service Now IRM module, from requirement gathering to delivery.
  • 7 years experience of web-based languages (JavaScript, CSS, Jelly, XML, HTML and Glide)
  • Experience in ServiceNow configurations including UI Policy, Client Scripts, Workflows, UI Action, Script Includes, Business Rules, workflow administration, reports, data import.
  • Experience integrating Service Now with other platforms (API's like SOAP / REST etc).
  • Experience completing complex configuration based on demand, working to coding standards to ensure a robust and mature development of the functionality within the platform
  • ServiceNow Administration certified
  • ITIL V 3 Foundation certified
