Data Engineer - IICS
Job Description
Key Result Areas and Activities:
Develop and Implement Data Integration Workflows: Use Informatica Cloud tools and connectors to create data integration workflows. Configure data mappings, transformations, and validations to ensure accurate and timely data integration across various systems and platforms.Seamless Integration with Cloud-Based Applications: Implement seamless integration between Informatica Cloud and other cloud-based applications and services (e.g., Salesforce, Azure)
Leverage APIs, web services, and integration platforms to achieve smooth data flow and interoperability. Support and Collaboration: Collaborate with Informatica Data Engineers and support engineers to design and develop solutions that meet requirements.
Provide support before, during, and after deployment, addressing any issues that arise- Performance Optimization: Assist with Level 2 and Level 3 application production issues, resolving challenging problems. Identify and implement tuning opportunities to improve overall system performance. Service Excellence and SLA Commitments: Ensure service excellence by meeting service level agreement (SLA) commitments related to data integration Work and Technical Experience:
Must-Have: Must have minimum of 5 years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years of working experience in Informatica and 3+ years in Informatica Cloud IICS(Data Integration) and 2+ years of working experience in IICS (Application Integration) along with Cloudera
Strong expertise in Informatica Cloud, including PowerCenter, Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, and other relevant Informatica products In-depth knowledge of data integration patterns, and ETL/ELT processes
Proven knowledge of real-time data integration, application integration, process automation using Informatica cloud application integration
Good-to-have:
Experience with data modelling, data warehousing, and database technologies.
Experience with Snowflake DB and scheduling tools like TIDAL, etc. Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages, and API integrations Certification on Informatica Cloud data integration/application integration specialist is an added plus Basis understanding of Power BI tool
