Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Knowledge of Australian accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero or MYOB
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly organized and able to meet tight deadlines

Roles And Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports
Perform general accounting tasks, such as data entry, reconciliation, and invoicing
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures
Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and support the external audit process
Provide support in analyzing financial data and identifying trends or issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices
