Vice President Delivery
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic VP of Delivery to lead the successful execution and delivery of software solutions for our government and corporate clients. This position will oversee project execution, client satisfaction, resource planning, team building, competition tracking and operational efficiency to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of solutions that align with client expectations and business objectives.
Delivery Management:
Oversee end-to-end delivery of software solutions, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and high-quality project execution.
Develop and implement best practices, delivery frameworks, and processes for software project management.
Ensure alignment of delivery with business goals, client needs, and organizational strategy.
Client Relationship Management:
Act as a trusted advisor to key clients, ensuring strong relationships, proactive communication, and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with sales, product, and technology teams to align delivery outcomes with client requirements.
Address escalations effectively, providing solutions that balance client interests and business objectives.
Resource and Capacity Planning:
Manage resource allocation across multiple projects to ensure optimal utilization and timely delivery.
Forecast capacity needs
Develop and Mentor high-performing delivery teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Operational Excellence:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, delivery timelines, and cost optimization.
Implement KPIs and metrics to monitor project health, quality, and team performance.
Champion Agile delivery methodologies, project governance frameworks, and industry best practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with product management, engineering, and senior leadership to ensure alignment of delivery plans with business priorities.
Provide regular updates and reporting to leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies. Keep track of competition activities
Required Skill:
Should have strong Delivery Management skills:
